Capri-Sun Theme Room: Sliding Into Half Term At Chessington!

We love both the Azteca & Safari hotels at Chessington World Of Adventures! From their fantastic themed rooms to their restaurants and bars. They are just so much fun and just when you think they can’t top their last theme they bring out a bedroom with a slide!! Yes really! A kids sleeping area with its own tube slide! 

New for 2024 they actually offer two brand new themed rooms: Capri Sun themed room & an Oreo themed room.
Now at some point we intend to try out the Oreo room which looks Fabulous but we went for the Capri-Sum room first. We weren’t disappointed!!

When you first enter the room the tropical theme is warm, fun and inviting. A little calypso jingle even activates on the door opening so you just can’t help but smile! Like all Chessington's premium rooms the room is spacious and slightly bigger than a standard room.. It also comes with little extras such as a little fridge with two complimentary Capri-Sun and a Coffee machine as well as the normal tea/coffee making facilities.  Every inch is themed - even the bathroom floor! The children’s sleeping area is the main event though with its super cute bunk beds and a bright yellow tube slide! It even has a Bamboo style safe which contained a cute little Penguin Teddy and a mini packet of Oreo’s. Now I had to try the slide myself! More than once to my son’s amusement and although lots of fun it may be a bit steep for very small children. For my older children (and parents) it’s lots of fun though! The room had views of the animals which is lovely and a large round chair for you to view them from.

With this room you are offered an early check in of 2pm but actually on the day we got a text to say we could check in at 12pm as it was ready! Parking is free but unlike the other premium rooms you don’t get a personal parking space. This didn’t matter in the slightest to us but this is something you normally get with all the other Premium rooms.

It really is such a fun experience to try, we absolutely recommend it. They seem to be getting booked up quite quickly to if you want to book one of these new themes don’t put it off
