Enlightened - Staunton Farm

The grounds of Staunton farm have once again been transformed this December into an awe-inspiring outdoor trail of mesmerising light installations and interactive fun! 

We love Staunton but there is something so magical about coming at night and see it look completely different! Enlightened uses projection, lighting, sound and special effects to transport visitors into their magical world! 
This year we decided to visit on Christmas Eve to start our family Christmas! 

What we love about Enlightened is as you step onto the trail, you'll find yourself immediately enveloped in a world of glowing colours and enchanting displays. The carefully curated light installations twirl and sparkle around you, guiding your path through the farm's picturesque grounds. From towering arches of light to sparkling tunnels and magical forest scenes, every corner holds a new surprise! 

Whether you’re a child marveling at the twinkling lights or an adult rediscovering the joy of Christmas, the Enlightened Light Trail is designed to bring out the childlike wonder in all of us. The event is family-friendly, with plenty of opportunities for younger visitors to explore, play, and enjoy seasonal treats.

The farm also offers a selection of delicious seasonal food and drinks—think mulled wine, hot chocolate, and freshly baked festive treats to enjoy as you warm up after your walk! 

Each section of the trail has been thoughtfully designed and one of our favourite areas is the wish tag wall. We always write down a wish on hang it up with all the hope and dreams of other visitors. Always lovely but there was something extra special about making a wish on Christmas Eve!
